Excited About MBA@IMI

Well finally the MBA season got to an end . Very happy that it is a happy ending. I had worked very hard over the last year juggling job and MBA preparation . Scored brilliantly , almost topping every exam such as JMET,SNAP,XAT,CAT etc. Got admission finally in International Management Institute having a cut-off of 95 percentile and having a good reputation among MBA aspirants. It has an added advantage of being near to my home.

Now the real game begins. The fees at IMI is exorbitantly high . I need to prepare myself for the challenges for the next one year. All my time , as of now is spent about thinking about the new place that I would be spending my next two years.

Got mail from the Program Director yesterday ,that the formal classes will be starting from 21st June and the remedials from 14th June. I am thinking of missing the remedials and spending one more week with the my mother. Missing home-food badly . The comfort of home is difficult not to miss.

But for the next 2 years, I have huge plans . I want to do really well . I am excited . More so because I am reassured that I am going to a good place. This was not the feeling when I joined my engineering college . Probably , because I have got this after a lot of hard-work and after consulting a lot of people . I now fully understand the importance of hard-work and working relentlessly on yourself which I am going to do the next 2 years. I have thought of doing majors in Finance and minors in Operations . I do not want to miss any assignment and presentations. I just hope I am able to convert my plans into reality . This would be first time in the hostel . A little unsure about taking hostel ....But it's ok for now.
